So, watching X-Files for the first time. I was warned about "Home" but still...
...yeah, I'm going to be hiding under the bed if anyone needs me. No, stop, that's where Ma Peacock was. AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!
Maybe the air vents?
... oh wait, that's where the "Squeeze" guy came out of...
Maybe I should just turn on all the lights and blast Lady Gaga. This will at least give me DIFFERENT nightmares, right?
(I'm really enjoying the show, but REALLY shouldn't watch it after 9 PM.)

Stitchin' Time!

Hello all! Back from Europe, and it was a wonderful time!
While I was away, seems like everyone was busy pulling up new cosplay plans. Time for me to join in! My next big con is all the way in January, and it's time to start thinking about a new outfit.
Yes, outfit. Singular. One.
Some of you may be thinking "January? That's AGES! I could whip out SIXTEEN fully-lined, button-hooked, whaleboned frocks in that time, AND hand embroider them with silk from my very own worm farm!" May I just say I hate some of you?
(I'm joking, joking, JOKING! I am in awe of the speedy, and long ago accepted I will never be that fast. 
)
So, the goal is one new costume a year. I've got some ideas, but would be interested in any suggestions! Here are my general working parameters: - Shorter hair (and if it's brown, that's AWESOME), good walking shoes, pockets or a good place to hide things. No super-short skirts. Armor, weapons, and other shiny things a big plus!

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind - Nausicaa or Princess Kushana
Moribito - Balsa
Doctor Who - Empty Child zombie
FMA - Edward, desert version or Fort Briggs winter coat
